SCO projects office called a meeting for promoting work

To better facilitate the establishment of the SCO’ demonstration base for the exchange and training of agricultural technology, and ensure all the work being carried out smoothly, on the afternoon of August 5, a meeting was held in conference room 111 of the exchange center to arrange and coordinate the recent work. Vice president Luo Jun attended the meeting and offered his remarks. The meeting was hosted by Liu Xuebo, director of SCO Projects Office.

The meeting briefed the work progress, main problems and future work of SCO Projects Office. The participants discussed the above issues in depth and offered their opinions and suggestions. Luo Jun underlined: first, we should pay more attention to planning, improve the understanding of work and clarify the responsibilities; second, we should focus on cooperation, establish a consultation mechanism, and hold regular coordination meetings; third, it’s vital to promote cooperation and strengthen exchanges with the universities of SCO member states; fourth, we should pool resources, innovate new mechanisms, and think out of the box in the construction of international joint laboratories; Fifthly, we should solicit funds from various organisations, consider the principles of setting up projects, the promotion of projects and the regulations of funds for the projects; sixth, we should take advantage of the SCO’ demonstration base and the Silk Road alliance, do solid work in the construction of Confucius Classroom and the people-to-people exchanges of the university.
