On April 25th, with a cloudless blue sky in Beijing, the second "One Belt and One Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum was held. As representatives of the Silk Road Alliance for Agricultural Education, Science and Technology Innovation, Dejan Yaksic, President of the University of Novi Sad in Serbia and Christopher Soshkevich, Vice-President of the University of Life Sciences in Poznan, Poland, were invited to participate in the Innovation Road Sub-Forum sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Before attending the sub-forum, Aksic paid a special visit to NWAFU and have a meet with Principal Wu Pute. He said that the "One Belt and One Road" aims at promoting regional cooperation and cross state exchanges, which is forward-looking. This initiative and alliance gives all participants a broader perspective. The alliance has exerted a wide influence in the field of education so far. Therefore, we should take advantage of it and explore new ways of cooperation in the area of education to contribute to this initiative.

Poznan University of Life Sciences is located in Poznan, one of Poland's oldest cities in Central European countries. It was founded in 1870 and ranks second in Poland's agricultural field. It has the reputation of "Green University" with more than 10,000 students. As early as 2008, Poznan University of Life Sciences has established a cooperative relationship with NWAFU. It is now a permanent member of the Alliance. The international cooperation is essential for the development of scientific research. Researchers in China have made great achievements in many fields, such as biotechnology, plant breeding and rural environmental protection.
